We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate should be a female with knowledge and experience in dental assisting. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our dentists and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials needed for dental procedures.
Sterilize and maintain dental equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality images.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist, anticipating their needs during procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
Dental Assistant with DHA license (or eligibility letter)
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably with specific knowledge and experience in dental practices.
Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.
Familiarity with dental software and computer skills for managing patient records.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and the dental team.ment.
