Nurse Team Lead - Home Care Facility

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create and adjust monthly schedule and actual hours including calculation of overtime hours within the payroll period.
  • Initial approval of leaves for Nursing Department.
  • Tracking and reporting of leaves for HR and Management approval and processes.
  • Submission of schedule including leaves and actual attendance for payroll processes.
  • Sending details to drivers of the nurses’ schedule.
  • Sending of pre-approval and renewal authorization to Insurance Department for Daman processes including collection of documents for each patient.
  • Inform nurses of the renewed authorization accordingly.
  • During incident of rejection, collection of documentations for re-processing will be initiated.
  • Monitor documentation for all nursing patients.
  • Conduct audit of patients’ files.
  • Conduct audit for EMR documentation per patient
  • Manage, do inventory and initiate request for approval for medical supplies.
  • Ensure to update the medical supplies inventory
  • Dispensing requested consumables to the all medical staff who needs the supplies
  • Manage and initiate first-line recipient of client complaints.
  • Assisting the company General Practitioner during visits or assessment.
  • Conducting initial assessment for new patient with coordination with General Practitioner and Patient Coordinator.
  • Coordinating with Insurance Coordinator about submission and approval
  • Coordinating with the Patient Coordinator about patient concerns.
  • Conduct patient assessment for prospect clients.
  • Attend weekly operational meeting, as needed.
  • Providing and submitting of patient weekly report.
  • Relieved nursing during unscheduled absences or emergency.
  • Reports any incident to the Quality Lead, HR and Medical Director as soon as possible.
  • Liaise with the medical director as required.
  • Willing to work shifts according the business needs.
  • Daily rota submission.
  • Participate in Audit and KPI trainings.

Data Collector

  • Collecting and providing the data of the KPI encounter/s.
  • Mandatory participation in all Quality Coordinators meetings.
  • Participate in data validation activity as required.
  • Updating and coordinating with the concern departments about the KPI encounters accordingly and timely.
  • Ensure data confidentiality.
  • To ensure that during leave period handover is done to alternative staff member in consensus with the HOD and Quality Department

Requirements

  • Active HAAD License as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Excellent communications skills; Both in English and Arabic Language (highly preferred).
  • Physically fit to adequately perform described duties
  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience
  • With home care setting experience
  • Self-Directed – able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong professional ethics
  • With time management and flexibility skills
