Job Description:

As a Coordinator with expertise in the elevator business, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards in our elevator projects. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Project Management:

Planning and managing elevator installation projects.

Coordinating project timelines and resources.

Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

Customer Relations:

Interacting with clients to understand their elevator needs and preferences.

Providing information and updates to clients regarding project status.

Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

Sourcing elevator components and materials from suppliers.

Managing relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts.

Ensuring the timely delivery of necessary equipment and materials.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring that elevator installations and maintenance meet safety and regulatory standards.

Coordinating inspections and certifications.

Maintaining records related to safety and compliance.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

Creating and managing budgets for elevator projects.

Monitoring project expenses and controlling costs.

Reporting on financial performance to management.

Team Supervision:

Overseeing elevator technicians, engineers, and other staff.

Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members.

Providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality work.

Maintenance Scheduling:

Creating maintenance schedules for elevators.

Coordinating routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Ensuring minimal downtime and maximum elevator availability.

Emergency Response:

Coordinating responses to elevator emergencies and breakdowns.

Implementing contingency plans to minimize service interruptions.

Collaborating with local authorities and emergency services.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

Maintaining records of elevator installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Documenting project details, work orders, and service history.

Generating reports for analysis and compliance purposes.

Technology and Innovation:

Keeping up with industry trends and technological advancements in elevators.

Evaluating and recommending new technologies for elevators.

Implementing energy-efficient and smart elevator solutions when applicable.

Quality Control:

Ensuring that elevator installations and maintenance meet high-quality standards.

Conducting inspections and quality checks.

Addressing any quality issues promptly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in elevator project coordination or related roles.

In-depth knowledge of elevator systems, technologies, and industry regulations.
