KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Senior level engineering professional providing technical direction required for production and completion of both routine and unique or complex projects.
· Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for a major phase of a large project or have overall responsibility for the engineering work on a project of moderate scope.
· Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinates engineering work involving conventional engineering practices but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements.
· Analyzing problems and coming up with designs to solve them.
· Networking and collaborating with other engineers and professionals.
· Working within the budget to deliver safe and efficient products on time.
· Allocating resources and time effectively.
· Attending meetings and providing input and updates.
· Analyzing data to write up reports.
· Communicating with staff, directors, and clients.
· Supervise less experienced engineers or technical support personnel on projects.
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing within required deadlines.
· Ability to prepare reports using Microsoft Office and Autodesk products
· Lead project management and client communications for successful project delivery
· Perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer
· At least limited proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other specialty-critical software preferred.
· Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to work on multiple projects and/or in multiple project phases simultaneously
· Superb creativity, vision, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and self-confidence.
· Extensive experience working on engineering projects.
· Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.
· Great written and verbal communication skills.
· Attention to detail.
