The Soft Services Supervisor manages and coordinates various non-technical services within a facility, such as cleaning, security, waste management, landscaping, and other customer-focused services. The role involves supervising service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction standards.
1. Required Qualifications and Skills:
· Education: A diploma or degree in facilities management, hospitality management, or a related field is often preferred.
· Experience: Previous experience of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within facilities management, soft services, or hospitality.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
· Proficiency in using facilities management software and other relevant tools.
2. Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily operations of soft services, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and on schedule.
· Coordinate with service providers and contractors to ensure services are delivered according to contract specifications and company standards.
· Allocate and manage staff resources, including rostering and assigning tasks to ensure coverage and efficiency.
· Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that soft services meet the required standards.
· Monitor and evaluate the performance of service providers and staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
· Ensure all services comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
· Address any issues or complaints from clients or facility users regarding soft services.
· Prepare and present reports on the performance and efficiency of soft services.
· Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in soft services.
· Ensure all staff members know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
· Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Ensure that all equipment is adequately maintained and in good working order.
