We are seeking a skilled and experienced Storekeeper with a background in handling building materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of building materials in our warehouse or storage facility.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventories and regularly update inventory databases to ensure stock levels are always up to date.
  • Ensure stocks are properly stored and organized to optimize space and facilitate easy retrieval.
  • Implement efficient storage solutions to maximize warehouse capacity.
  • Prepare stocks for dispatch according to orders received and coordinate with delivery personnel to ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials to project sites or customers.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to inventory movements, including receipts, issue slips, and stocktaking reports.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that all materials meet required standards and specifications.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to identify any issues or concerns with stored materials.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards governing the handling and storage of stocks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience working as a Storekeeper or similar role in the building materials industry in UAE.
  • In-depth knowledge of different types of building materials and their storage requirements.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
