The first supermarket in the group commenced its operation in the same year in Dubai which was one of the growing hub of markets in the entire Middle East. The market potential motivated the management to open the second supermarket in 1976 in Sharjah, the nearby Emirates. By forward planning and strategic approach, now LIFCO has become the leading name in distribution of frozen, chilled and dry products, procured through a supply chain mechanism spanning around the globe. The group has achieved success in implanting the Mediterranean and Lebanese culture in food and living through a growing number of supermarkets that has got presence in eight different strategic locations.
