The Auto Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an automotive repair workshop in Sharjah. This role involves managing staff, high standards of customer service, ensuring efficient workflow, and handling administrative tasks such as budgeting and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
a) Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate workshop staff, including mechanics, technicians, and administrative personnel.
b) Create work schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient operations.
Customer Service:
a) Greet and handle customers, their inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
b) Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and timely repairs.
Operations Management:
a) Oversee all workshop operations for repair and maintenance, body shop, and automobile activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
b) Implement and monitor workshop policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
c) Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement of parts and materials.
Financial Management:
a) Prepare and manage the workshop's budget.
b) Develop strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Quality Control:
a) Ensure all repairs and services meet safety and quality standards.
b) Implement continuous improvement practices.
Health and Safety:
a) Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations.
b) Conduct regular safety training and audits and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Inventory Management:
a) Oversee inventory levels and manage stock control.
b) Ensure accurate recording of parts and supplies usage.
c) Implement effective inventory management systems.
Reporting:
a) Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts usage, and customer interactions.
b) Prepare regular reports on workshop performance for senior management.

Preferred candidate available in UAE with gulf experience/driving license

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
