Company Driver

Full job description

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport employees, clients, and materials to and from specified locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the company vehicle, performing regular inspections and reporting any issues.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading of luggage or materials as needed.
• Plan routes based on road and traffic conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all necessary documentation, such as licenses and permits, are up to date.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedule changes or issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
• Assist with other administrative or logistical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a driver is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and local routes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy items.
