The responsibility of a Regional Compliance Manager is to ensure our company adheres to legal standards and policies across the Middle East region. Also for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.

Job Description

  • GDPR compliance, including security and confidentiality procedures and data retention schedule
  • Business continuity, including disaster recovery compliance to visa applications
  • Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies for ME.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
  • Conducting internal reviews and audits
  • Conducting operational audits to ensure the organization meets operational requirements
  • Advising internal management and business partners on the implementation of compliance programs
  • Developing risk management strategies
  • Following up on compliance issues that require investigation
  • Evaluating compliance systems and ensuring adequate software is in place.
  • Reporting on compliance
  • Dealing and being the point of contact for the regulators.
  • Conducting regular GAP analysis on new and updated controls and best practices in the industry
  • Collaborate with the Finance, Legal and Human Resources departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations

Other Requirements.

  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Good grasp of industry processes and existing business regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to solve problems when they arise
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High ethical standards, methodical and diligent whilst keeping in mind the values and objectives of the organization
  • Demonstrates a high-level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Specialist knowledge of risk management frameworks that provide operational protection of organizational systems and services through the provision of control, management and delivery of the ongoing governance requirements within finance, legal and human resources operations.
