Steel Fixing Foreman Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Steel fixer Foreman to join one of our client’s construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fixing and a proven track record of leading teams to successfully complete projects on time and within budget.

Steel fixing foreman should be efficient to coordinate the activities of the steel fixer crew who are engaged in erecting structural steel, pipe work, mechanical, and civil work.

  • He will be responsible for coordinating various tasks like preparing schedules by monitoring the attendance of the crew, allocating daily and general responsibilities.
  • Supervising and training tradespeople and workers.
  • Guaranteeing all safety precautions and along with the quality standards, laying out steel bars, rods, mesh, and framework, joins steel reinforcement bars, girders by welding and prioritizing various plans and works in the work site.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of steel fixers on construction sites.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Coordinate activities with project managers, engineers, and other trades.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress.
  • Report on any deviations from the project plan.
  • Train and mentor junior staff.
  • Manage resources and maintain a productive work environment.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Job qualifications/requirements

  • 10 years of experience working as a Steel Fixer Foreman in any GCC country within the construction industry.
  • UAE Work experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage tasks as per priorities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive work environment.
  • A hardworking and detailed-orientated individual.
