Provide the best level of service to guests and enhance customer satisfaction by offering timely, accurate, trouble-free, and courteous service to arriving and in-house guests.
· Responds to guest requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings.
· Arranges for special services requested by the guests.
· Reviewing the PMS to check all updates related to guests in house, arrivals, departures and take proper handover from the previous shift.
· Arranges fulfilment of guest services by working with Bell staff, Housekeeping, Reservations and F&B.
· Allocates rooms and issues appropriate keys.
· Follows-up and verifies arrivals by updating registration cards with regards to spelling of guest’s name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, method of payment, guest’s preferences.
· Handles incoming guest room reservations.
· Handles reservations for guests & restaurants, etc.
· Aware at all times of current room status and room availability.
· Fully aware of current and future hotel promotions.
· Find ways for upselling upon check-in and during the stay of the guests to maximize room revenue.
· Increases hotel revenue by promoting Food and Beverage alternatives.
· Completes shift closing accurately by getting appropriate approval signatures.
· Adheres to hotel policies regarding the use of cash banks.
· Communicates effectively with guests, colleagues, and superiors
