Sunreef Yachts, a global leader in luxury catamaran and superyacht manufacturing, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Design Office. This key leadership position requires a visionary with a proven track record in yacht design and the ability to manage a talented team of over 60 individuals.
Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a diverse team of designers, architects, and engineers to create innovative and world-class yacht designs.
Oversee the entire design process from conceptualization to final execution, ensuring high-quality and aesthetically pleasing outcomes.
Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and production, to integrate design concepts seamlessly into the manufacturing process.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to maintain Sunreef Yachts' position at the forefront of luxury yacht design.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior design role within the yacht or marine industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a large design team.
Exceptional knowledge of yacht design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
Proficient in relevant design software and tools.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Yacht Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in yacht design, with a demonstrable portfolio of successful projects.
Previous experience managing a design team of 60 or more individuals is highly desirable.
