Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified, knowledgeable IT Admin Executive to help our company develop, use, and integrate IT systems. He/she will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems and providing training to users to maximize the productivity value of technology in business.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN network issues and provide effective solutions.
- Provide IT support for internal and remote users.
- Experience in managing FortiGate firewall and VPNs.
- Coordinate with the ERP team for backend changes, bug reports, and error resolution.
- Provide end-user support for the ERP system, addressing issues, answering queries, and resolving problems.
- Maintain records of changes made to the ERP system and their impact.
- Basic understanding of Accounting, HR, Procurement process.
- Handle Windows OS, Server 2019, Active Directory, Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, IIS server, and file server.
- Identify and resolve issues related to software, hardware, network, LAN, Wi-fi, CCTV, printers, scanners, telephony, and attendance systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Administer Google Workspace, including user account management and email administration.
- Knowledge in SQL server management and daily server backups.
- Manage the procurement of IT equipment, license renewal, work with suppliers, contracts, and make upgrade recommendations.
- Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Update company website through WordPress and manage company LinkedIn account.
- Manage PABX system.
- Ensure timely data backups and patching of operating systems and applications.
- Experience in endpoint security, including antivirus and malware management.
- Perform routine preventive procedures and maintain IT rooms, including hardware checks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT support roles.
Hands-on experience in hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting, ERP administration, and Google Workspace.
Experience with FortiGate firewall and VPN management.
- Proficiency in SQL server management.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and server maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g.: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCSE) are a plus.
A preferred candidate would need to be currently located in the UAE and possess at least 3 years of prior work experience within the country. As this role is a replacement, the selected candidate should be capable of commencing within 2 weeks to facilitate onboarding, handover, and training procedures.
