IT Networking Expert:

Analyze, troubleshoot and evaluate computer network problems. More advanced IT pros may be responsible for building and designing communication networks as well. They play an important role in maintaining an organization’s network and keeping them safe and secure through both hardware configuration and end-user training. Network specialists and administrators are responsible for day-to-day operations and network architects and engineers design and build local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Intranets. Depending on the size of the company, these roles may be combined.

Required skills at this level

● Analysing workflow and security requirements and establishing the network.

● Evaluating network performance issues and installing and testing equipment, connections, and firewalls.

● Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, printers, and scanners.

● Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.

● Perform thorough root cause analysis, best practice troubleshooting techniques and processes, and procedures as defined by hardware/software vendors and personal experience.

● Fine-tuning the network to enhance the performance for users.

● Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

● Providing first-line technical support to end-users.

● Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.

● Testing, evaluating, and installing network enhancements to regularly update the network.

● Keeping accurate documentation and records on the network as a whole and Maintain Proper IT inventory for the Company.
