Jewelry Repair Technician

Our client is a leading global luxury Jewelry brand.

Position title: After Sales Service Technician - Jewelry

Region: MEAI

Your Mission:

Perform effective and efficient repairs of all the relevant Jewelry product categories in line with Bulgari Standards whilst respecting the cost, quality and lead time objectives as defined by the Supervisor.

Main Accountabilities:

Perform Jewelry repairs including reconditioning, component replacement and repair, polishing, cleaning, rhodium plating, gem settings, laser and gas soldering, prong manufacturing and repair, ring resizing, stone cutting/shaping and quality check.

Clean the jewelries in ultrasonic cleaner after polishing/rhodium plating.

Develop new repair techniques in order to be more efficient with the repairs.

Define the authenticity and reparability of the product and provide technical evaluation including the definition of the spare parts needed.

Perform in-system evaluation of the repair (e.g. cost estimate, spare parts needed).

Cooperate with the Supervisor in order to define the daily workflow.

Perform self-quality control of the repairs before handing it for the final Quality Control.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Gem setting.
• Jewelry repairs using laser soldering machine.
• Polishing and rhodium plating.
• Cleaning the jewelries using Ultrasonic cleaner.
• Ring resizing (all metals).
• Manufacturing and repairs of prong settings.
• Soldering using gas torch and manual technics.
• Stone cutting and shaping as per the product requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
