Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Foreman to lead and oversee our furniture joinery projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery works, especially in the furniture sector, and experience managing teams on-site to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, lead, and manage a team of joiners and carpenters on furniture joinery projects.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules, allocate tasks, and ensure team productivity.
  • Ensure all work is completed to company and client standards, including quality control and safety measures.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with other trades and contractors to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide hands-on support where necessary, ensuring high-quality finishes and detailing in furniture pieces.
  • Ensure proper use of tools and machinery, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Report progress, challenges, and updates to project managers

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Joinery Foreman in the furniture industry.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture joinery techniques and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in construction and joinery.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
