Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and storing ingredients.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized at all times.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Assist chefs and cooks as needed, following instructions precisely.
  • Monitor food stock levels and inform the supervisor of any shortages.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in culinary arts is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong time management and teamwork skills.
