Full job description

Chainman Duties

• Measure and record lengths and angles of survey lines using survey-grade instruments
• Calculate linear and angular measurements and check accuracy of survey data
• Record data from field observations using surveying instruments, such as total stations and theodolites
• Maintain surveying equipment
• Assist surveyors in collecting survey data
• Carry out site surveys and set out boundaries
• Check the survey data and make corrections as necessary

Chainman Requirements

• Must be physically fit
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work at heights
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to work as part of a team

Chainman Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret survey plans
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in all weathers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
