Job Description

The job of the Insurance Coordinator is to verify all existing insurance information, documents, communicates and corrects billing system to reflect accurate coverage as per prevailing insurance standards and requirements. To ensure the maximization of revenue and reduce number of uncollected account receivables.

Location: Dubai, UAE

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline

Billing Certification CPC preferred, CPT and ICD

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as insurance coordinator in a healthcare setting. Homecare experience is preferred.

Working knowledge of the insurance process in a healthcare setting in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Northern Emirates (e.g., NAS, Neuron, oman, NGI, )

Essential Functions:

Reviews claims to make sure that billing requirements are met, updates accounts as necessary, answers inquiries, and makes recommendations for resolution.

Adheres to timeframes noted within policy to create efficient and effective billing.

Coordinates, liaises, and networks between insurance companies regarding eligibility, payments, approvals, reconciliation, and other requirements.

Prepares insurance forms and associated correspondences.

Prepares and submits claims for payment as per health authority and payor agreement

Maintains strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.

Accesses information from various sources including provider lines, to access the most current information
