Job Summary:

We are looking for a diligent and eager-to-learn Motorcycle Mechanic Helper to assist our team of experienced mechanics in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will support various repair and maintenance tasks, gaining hands-on experience in motorcycle mechanics with a focus on Chinese brand bikes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting Mechanics:

• Support mechanics in diagnosing and repairing motorcycles, including tasks such as disassembling and reassembling parts, holding tools, and providing general assistance during repairs.
• Assist in routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake checks.
• Tools and Equipment:
• Prepare and organize tools and parts required for repairs.
• Clean and maintain workshop tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Workshop Maintenance:
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe, ensuring that all hazardous materials are handled properly.
• Dispose of waste materials according to safety and environmental guidelines.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in tracking inventory levels of parts and supplies.
• Help in ordering and restocking parts as needed.
• Customer Interaction:
• Support customer service by moving motorcycles within the workshop or to the customer pick-up area.
• Occasionally assist with explaining basic maintenance tips to customers under the supervision of a senior mechanic.
• Learning and Development:
• Learn and develop mechanical skills under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:
• Previous experience in a workshop environment is a plus but not mandatory. Willingness to learn is essential.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of motorcycle mechanics is an advantage.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various positions.
• Skills:
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of using hand and power tools.
• Language:
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
