Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Motorcycle Mechanic Helper to support our team in the daily maintenance and repair of motorcycles. The ideal candidate will assist the lead mechanics in performing routine checks, repairs, and servicing of motorcycles. This role is essential in ensuring that all motorcycles are maintained to the highest standards and are safe for operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of motorcycle parts.
  • Help in performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake inspections, and other minor repairs.
  • Support the lead mechanic in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Keep the workshop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of motorcycles for customer delivery, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous materials, such as used oil and batteries, following safety regulations.
  • Occasionally interact with customers to understand their motorcycle concerns and relay the information accurately to the lead mechanic.
  • Assist in test rides and inspections to ensure that repairs and services are performed correctly.
  • Help in maintaining accurate records of all work performed, including parts used, labor time, and services provided.
  • Assist in inventory management by keeping track of parts and supplies used during repairs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the workshop.
  • Ensure that all work complies with local regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a mechanical or automotive environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of motorcycle mechanics and parts.
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment.
  • Willingness to work in various conditions, including standing for long periods and handling dirty or greasy parts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in automotive or motorcycle repair is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
