We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the production process at Geoseas. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes while maintaining high quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail to meet production goals and optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting customer expectations and deadlines.
• Team Management: Lead and supervise the production team, including supervisors and operators, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve production processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
• Resource Management: Manage resources such as equipment, materials, and personnel to meet production demands, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Quality Control: Oversee the quality control processes to ensure that production meets the required standards and specifications.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the production environment.
• Budget Management: Monitor production costs and expenses, working to stay within budget while meeting production targets.
• Reporting: Prepare and present production performance reports, including productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics, to senior management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to align production with supply chain and operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in production management, preferably in the maritime or manufacturing industry
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and equipment
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in production management software and tools (e.g., SAP, ERP systems)
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Preferably Arabic and Hindi speakers
