Quantity Surveyor

Required skills and abilities:-

• Excellent academic record (grade 10, plus two specially)
• Strong mathematical knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail
• Analytical thinking skills
• Understanding of engineering science and technology
• Knowledge of building and construction
• Ability to use own initiative

Roles and responsibility:

• Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in UAE in contracting company
• Holding Diploma or equivalent degree in Quantity Surveyor is preferable
• Familiarity with forms of contracts
• Conversant in AUTO CAD, and CAD Measure based measurements
• Familiarity with MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint& Outlook)
• Taking off quantities of Sub-Structure, Architectural and landscaping and Structural work
• Quantity verifications using CAD or Site measure.
• Preparation of independent assessments for variations.
• Tender Analysis and Quantity Take off for Lumpsum Project
• Reviewing and validating payment applications
• Reviewing and validating of final accounts and additional cost claims
• Reviewing and validating Sub contractor Payment Applications
• Collaboration and working as part of a team

EDUCATION: Diploma/B.TECH or equivalent degree in quantity surveyor is preferable.

EXPERIENCE: At least 2-4 years in UAE in contracting company.
