Safety Officer

Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workplace safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in the UAE.

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and standards.
• Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
• Provide safety training and education to employees.
• Collaborate with management to create a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Nebosh or similar certification is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
