Position Overview

Tradeling is seeking a talented and experienced Senior QA Mobile Automation Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative technology team. As a Senior Mobile Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications through automation testing. If you are passionate about mobile technologies, automation, and delivering high-quality software, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms using Appium 2.0 with testng.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.

Identify, prioritize, and execute test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Check app compatibility testing with different platforms, OS, and device aspects to ensure app free crash.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile automation testing, integrating automated tests into the build and deployment processes.

Analyze and report test results, identifying and documenting defects and tracking their resolution throughout the development lifecycle.

Check the test results and give insights about automation scripts run through browserStack.

Optimize and enhance existing automation frameworks and processes to improve efficiency, maintainability, and test coverage.

Mentor the released app through different platforms, like CrashLytics, DataDog, and GA.

Provide technical expertise and sharing best practices in mobile automation testing.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to mobile automation testing.

Requirements (Hard Skills)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

5+ years of relevant experience in mobile automation testing.

Proficient in mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso) and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Python.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools, such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Experience with mobile app development and testing on iOS and Android platforms.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with mobile automation testing.

Experience with performance testing of mobile applications.

Knowledge of mobile security testing best practices.

Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and devices.

Requirements (Soft Skills)

Attention to Detail: Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in testing processes to identify even the smallest of defects, ensuring a high-quality product.

Effective Communication: Actively listening to and engaging with customer feedback to prioritize and address their concerns, ensuring the product meets their expectations.

Team Support: Offering assistance and support to teammates in challenging situations, emphasizing a strong sense of unity and camaraderie within the QA team.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
