Supervisor (Food Truck)

The Food Truck Supervisor at Alien Burger plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests. This position involves supervising and coordinating the front-of-house staff, managing customer service, maintaining quality standards, and maximizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train front-of-house staff
  • Assign duties and responsibilities, establish work schedules, and ensure staff adherence to restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain high service standards, ensuring consistency and adherence to the restaurant's brand and quality guidelines.
  • Lead by example, displaying a positive and friendly attitude towards guests and staff.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of the restaurant, optimizing workflow, and managing resources effectively.
  • Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinating with the kitchen staff to create accurate and timely order lists based on menu requirements and inventory levels.
  • Oversee order accuracy, proper timing, and overall guest experience from ordering to service completion.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening, and closing cash registers, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with the team to address scheduling conflicts, shift changes, and time-off requests.
  • Oversee daily DSR (Daily Sales Report) preparation, ensuring accurate recording of sales, voids, discounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Handle banking procedures, including depositing cash and checks, reconciling cash register, and preparing financial reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding tip reporting and distribution.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a restaurant supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the foodservice industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including customer service, food and beverage, and health and safety standards.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, making quick and sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using restaurant management software and computer applications.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
