Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Admission Advisor to join our team. The Admission Advisor plays a pivotal role in driving enrollment growth by effectively promoting and selling our educational programs to prospective students. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their educational and career aspirations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect Engagement: Initiate and maintain proactive communication with prospective students through various channels including phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person consultations.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize a variety of methods such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online outreach to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of potential students.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments and consultative sales discussions with prospective students to understand their educational goals, interests, and challenges, and recommend suitable program options.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our educational programs, curriculum offerings, admission requirements, and value propositions to effectively communicate key selling points and benefits to prospective students.
  • Application Support: Guide prospective students through the application process, providing assistance with document submission, deadlines, and application fees, and ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
  • Objection Handling: Address and overcome objections, concerns, and questions raised by prospective students regarding program offerings, admissions criteria, tuition costs, financial aid options, and career outcomes.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets and revenue goals through proactive sales activities, effective lead management, and conversion strategies.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain regular follow-up with leads and inquiries to nurture relationships, provide additional information, answer questions, and facilitate enrollment decisions.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong rapport and trust with prospective students to establish long-lasting relationships and encourage referrals and repeat business.
  • CRM Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of all interactions with prospective students, application statuses, and enrollment outcomes in CRM or sales management systems.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with admissions team members, academic departments, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for lead generation, conversion, and retention.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, sales techniques, and best practices through ongoing training, professional development, and feedback mechanisms to enhance sales effectiveness and performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in education or related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, influence decisions, and close deals effectively.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their educational and career goals.
  • Results-oriented attitude with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or sales management systems.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for recruitment events and activities.
  • Previous experience in admissions, education, or student services is a plus.
