Friendly Early Childhood Center in Dubai is looking to appoint a female Arabic teacher (UAE National) to join their amazing team.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging language classes that align with the developmental stages and interests of young children
• Use age-appropriate teaching methods and activities to make learning enjoyable and effective
• Teach basic vocabulary, pronunciation and simple phrases
• Create a language-rich environment by speaking and interacting exclusively in the introduced language during the classes
• Use visual aids, props, and gestures to facilitate comprehension and communication
• Create engaging classroom activities that encourage student participation and make learning fun
• Conduct classroom activities such as games related to a topic in order to engage the children
• Encourage children to express themselves verbally and through gestures
• Assess and track each child’s language proficiency and progress
• Provide feedback to parents and guardians on their child’s language development
• Share resources and strategies for continued language development at home
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment
• Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive social interactions among the children
• Stay updated on best practices in early childhood language acquisition and foreign language teaching
• Attend professional development workshops or courses related to language education
• Any other duties delegated by the Nursery Principal

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in education, foreign language instruction, early childhood education or a related field
• Proficiency in Arabic and English language, both spoken and written
• Experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting
• Knowledge of child development principals and age-appropriate activities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents and colleagues
• Creativity and adaptability to make language learning fun and engaging for children
• Flexibility and genuine love for working with children
