Chief Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Accountant to join our finance team in KSA. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial principles and practices in KSA / GCC. As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various financial activities within the company.

NOTE - The job Location will be KSA, Applicants who can relocate from UAE to KSA only can apply.

Qualifications -

• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management. In case of a qualified CA 2 years is sufficient.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial data and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor variances and provide analysis on budget performance.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Coordinate and participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.
• Tax Compliance: Work with tax consultants to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns as required.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and management to support business objectives and initiatives.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, providing financial expertise and analysis.
