Position: Demi CDP
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role Overview:
· Take orders from Chef de Partie and carry them out in the correct manner
· Together with Chef de Partie write daily wine, dry store, food requisitions and kitchen transfers on the appropriate forms in order to achieve the high stock rotation desired in their section
· Cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.
· Responsible for completing the daily checklists regarding mise-en-place and food storage
· Attend daily and monthly meetings with the Executive Chef.
· Plans menu (With Executive Chef) taking advantage of foods in season and local availability.
· Serves meals.
· Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment to the Executive Chef and to follow up and ensure the necessary work has been carried out.
· Keep the section clean and tidy.
· Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform appearance and professionalism
· With previous experience in Japanese Cuisine
