JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Monitor and provide general care to patients in hospital wards and in outpatient clinics.
  2. Admit patients requiring special care, investigations, and treatment.
  3. Examine and talk to patients to diagnose their medical conditions.
  4. Make notes, both as a record of treatment and for referral.
  5. Liaise with other medical and non-medical staff in the hospital to ensure quality treatment.
  6. Work with other doctors as part of a team.
  7. Promote health education among patients.
  8. Organise preventive medical programmes.
  9. Maintain knowledge of applicable local regulations and requirements.
  10. Monitoring the quality of medical care provided to patients hospitalized.
  11. Conducts the periodic health program for company executives.
  12. Monitors clinical and other established indicators to ensure ongoing quality assurance.
  13. Strictly observes organization’s medical regulations and policies especially those related to infection control, patient safety, patient assessment and patient care.
  14. Performs other miscellaneous related duties as requested by the head of general clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Graduation from an approved medical school plus one year of internship
  2. At least three years of practice as a GP.
  3. Must have license to practice by DHA.
  4. Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic desirable but not mandatory.
