Job Description

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. The role ensures a pleasant and safe environment for guests and staff by following cleaning standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas.

Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.

Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize rooms and public areas.

Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.

Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.

Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Assist guests politely and professionally when approached.

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hotels/hospitality preferred.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently with attention to detail.

Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift during shifts.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
