HVAC Technician

Main duties/responsibilities:

• Carry out repair and maintenance and installation related to HVAC equipment and spares which reflect the standard of Hotel.
• Organize work in a skilled and professional manner.
• Ensure all the Chillers and HVAC equipment are tested and maintained as per requirements.
• Ensure that all Work Order, PPM & CWA’s and General Maintenance works are executed as directed by the Team Leaders.
• Ensure all the portable appliances are PAT tested as per the FLS matrix
• Ensure that the par level is maintained for the fast moving HVAC spares in the stores.
• Maintain the work area clean and tidy.
• Be familiar and comply with all relevant Engineering Departmental Policies, Process and Procedures.
• Knowledge of Building Management System.
• Knowledge of basics of engineering drawings.
• Adapt to any other duties in due time requested by the management.
• Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and records.
• Knowledge of HVAC/Electrical /Mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Sound knowledge of starting methods from motors, pumps and use of various chemicals for swimming pools.
• Identification of HVAC /Electrical/Mechanical/ Plumbing spares & FLS equipment.
• Good all round skills / high quality standard.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• High School Diploma.
• Trade certificate of HVAC.
• Basics of Building Management System.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Technical HVAC Services Environment.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Hotel industry.
• Good verbal and written English
