Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher with expertise in phonics instruction and early childhood literature. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phonics and literacy, as well as a genuine love for teaching young children.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that focus on phonics and early literacy skills.
- Foster a love for reading and literature through a variety of activities and storytelling sessions.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Assess and track student progress in reading and writing, providing individualized support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience.
- Utilize a range of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- State teaching certification in early childhood or elementary education.
- Proven experience in teaching phonics and early literacy skills.
- Strong knowledge of children's literature and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
