Learning Support Assistant

Full job description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at Ambassador School, Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with learning difficulties.
• Assisting in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborating with teachers to modify classroom activities and materials to meet students' needs.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Psychology, Diploma in Special Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with the ICSE curriculum is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
