Role: Lifeguard

Location: Hatta, Dubai (Near Oman border)

MUST TO HAVE: VALID UAE LIFEGUARD LICENSE & GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILL IN ENGLISH

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure guests are aware of all services and activities available.
• Ensure that proper pool testing has taken place prior to Guests using the facility.
• Ensure all Guests are registered prior to using the pool and are aware of the rules and regulations of the facility.
• Makes sure the area is clean and constantly monitors area activity.
• Ensure the sun loungers are clean; umbrellas are in working shape and, in the correct position and proper working condition.
• Observe the area for dangerous conditions, unusual or unsafe activities, and who are struggling.
• Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the Head of Department.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times and proper grooming and personal appearance to be maintained

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to work long hours in an outside environment are essentials.
• Good command of English and good interpersonal abilities are an advantage.
• With lifeguard license and first aid certificate - BEACH CERTIFIED
• Excellent swimmer with Basic Schooling
• 1 to 2 years hotel or club experience as a life guard
