Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Utilize a blend of Montessori and other educational curriculums to create a well-rounded learning experience.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by managing and mentoring a dedicated team of educators and support staff.
- Implement effective communication strategies with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and the nursery's activities.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes the social, emotional, and intellectual development of each child.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Montessori education principles and the ability to integrate them into the curriculum.
- Familiarity with a variety of educational approaches, demonstrating flexibility in adapting to the needs of diverse learners.
- Possession of a CACHE Level 5 certificate or a Bachelor's degree in Education.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to creating a supportive and enriching learning environment for young children.
- Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the nursery.
