Job Description

Looking for an Operations Manager with 3+ years of experience in Event Industry.

Should have the following skills

Project Management:Utilize project management best practices to plan, execute, and close event projects efficiently.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for events.
Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.

Agile Methodologies:Apply Agile and Scrum principles to adapt to changing requirements and maintain flexibility in event planning and execution.
Use agile tools and practices for improved collaboration, communication, and transparency within event teams.

Logistics and Resource Management:Oversee logistics, including venue selection, transportation, accommodations, and equipment procurement.
Allocate and manage resources, such as staff, volunteers, and vendors, to ensure the smooth execution of events.

Budget Management:Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
Track expenses and revenues, making necessary adjustments to stay within budget.

Vendor and Supplier Relations:Establish and maintain relationships with event vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery of services and products.

Team Leadership and Coordination:Lead and coordinate cross-functional event teams, including event planners, designers, marketers, and technicians.
Foster collaboration, set expectations, and ensure everyone is aligned with the event's goals.

Communication Skills:Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, team members, vendors, and attendees.
Use strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information, updates, and changes clearly and professionally.

Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring events run smoothly and without disruptions.

Quality Assurance:Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards in event planning and execution.
Continuously improve processes and procedures based on feedback and lessons learned.

Post-Event Analysis:Conduct post-event evaluations to measure the success of events, identify areas for improvement, and gather feedback for future events.

Technology Utilization:Leverage technology and event management software to streamline processes, manage registrations, and monitor event metrics.

Adaptability and Flexibility:Be open to adapting plans on the fly, especially in the dynamic event industry where unforeseen circumstances may arise.
