Job Description

1. Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.

2. Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.

3. Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.

4. Capture correct and accurate customer’s data on the system.

5. File data and perform other routine clerical tasks as assigned and for other departments as needed.

6. Operate a variety of standard office machines, including a personal computer and a variety of computer software, phone, fax, shredding machine and photocopy machine.

7. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.

8. Perform reception duties in and efficient, professional and courteous manner.

9. Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.

10. Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.

11. Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).

12. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.

13. Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

14. Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

15. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

16. Order management / Invoice approvals and disputes / Record Keeping.

17. Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time.
