Job Purpose
Over all in charge of all barge equipment such as engine room, derrick cranes, pipelay equipment . spread mooring winches, jacking system, mobile deck equipment , propulsion system and personnel working under his direct supervision.
Qualification and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or Marine Engineering
· Minimum 5 years” of experience as Chief Mechanic or Chief /Second Engineer on onboard Offshore construction Vessels . And 10 years diversified experience in related machinery and equipment maintenance and operation pertaining to offshore construction equipment.
· STW 95 Class 1 Marine Chief or Second Engineer (III/2) unlimited
· Good Communication skills and strong cultural awareness.
· Good Planning , organizing and problem-solving skills.
· Proven supervisory skills
· Ability to work well in a multicultural & multinational work environment.
· Good commands of spoken and written English language.
· Good computer skills.
