Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and present monthly quarterly, and annual financial reports to management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including inventory management and cost of goods sold.
  • Oversee the preparation of VAT Filing and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Manage the accounts payable, including vendor payments.
  • To ensure ERP is used in the proper manner and as per best practices.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of payroll records and oversee the payroll process.
  • Train and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Respond to all queries related to financial matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets.
  • Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts, such as inventories, prepaid deposits, and sub-tenant receivables; reconciles subsystem with General Ledger.
  • Responsible to prepare cash flow on a fortnightly basis to ensure the funds.
  • Preparation of MIS report to monitor the efficiency of performance.


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • ACCA/CA/CPA designation is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Proficiency with ERP i.e., Odoo Enterprise and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • - Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within the initial training period after the employee begins work.
  • Valid UAE driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
