Kennedy Towers is the largest short term rental property management company in the UAE. We manage properties on behalf of independent property owners and lease their properties to guests on a short-term, flexible basis. Kennedy Towers is searching for a passionate, enthusiastic, and positive individual with a proven track record to join our accounting team

Base Salary: Between AED 4000-AED 6000 pcm based on experience

Incentive Opportunities: Regular opportunities to earn more from commissions through a wide range of value-adding exercises for the company.

Job Description

  • Record and segment booking revenue according to the nature of the channel and the relevant taxes, fees and commissions associated with each booking
  • Calculate and pay VAT, City Fees (DTCM Tourism Dirham) and other government fees associated with booking revenue
  • Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and develop an efficient system to ensure there are no outstanding balances due to the organization
  • Recording of receipts appropriately from the bank statements, cash collections and POS terminals
  • Conduct regular bank account reconciliation to make sure all accounts are updated
  • Month end reconciliations of relevant receivables accounts
  • Calculate and verify monthly sales commissions paid to sales agents
  • Monitor company revenue and ensure these are aligned with our property management systems, our customer relationship management systems and government taxation systems.
  • Assistance Preparing the Monthly Statement of Accounts for Landlords and the Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience using Quickbooks Accounting Software is Preferred
  • 1-2 years’ Experience with Real Estate (Property Management) Preferred
  • 3-5 years’ Work Experience within an Accounting Function
  • Experience producing accounting information for European markets is preferred
  • Accounting Qualification (ACCA) and Higher-Level Education Required
