Key responsibilities
Prepare and close monthly management reports and annual financial statements on timely and accurate basis
Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors, banks, suppliers and customers
Ensure compliance with all financial and tax filing requirements
Monitor and ensure availability of funds for cash flow requirements
Manage and review work of junior staff
Qualifications and Competencies
Certified Public Accountant or equivalent or part-qualified with experience
Minimum 4 years of taxation, audit, finance and accounting work experience
Fully versed with International Accounting Standards
With good knowledge of UAE VAT requirements and filing; UK taxation and dealing with HMRC
Proficient in Microsoft office suite and accounting software
Able to analyze financial records, bank statements, contracts
Can prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies and other ad hoc requirements
Keen on details and can work independently with less supervision on simultaneous engagements
Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and motivational skills
Able to handle and review work of junior accountant
