Job Responsibilities:As an Accountant cum Inventory Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day inventory operations, including tracking inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing effective inventory management strategies.
  • Collaborating with the sales and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost-saving measures.
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Supervising a team of inventory and accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting and inventory management, preferably within the furniture or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory control practices, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with Tally ERP is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
