This vacant position is for an international company opening up it’s third-party global outsourcing office; expected to be fully operational in Dubai October 2023! The company is one of North America’s leading carriers and specialize in the transportation and logistics industry. They are growing in many areas and are searching for talented individuals to lead their team!

*This is an in-office, permanent, full-time role in Dubai, UAE.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate for this role has strong communication skills, pays attention to details and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for the day-to-day billing while assisting with other administrative work.

Direct Report:

· Finance Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Collating, preparing, and issuing information related to customer accounts including invoices, bills, inventory records, account reports and any other relevant financial statements using internal software

· Reconciling sales order records with drivers pay to ensure clients are billed correctly

· Following up through emails or phone calls with delinquent customers on overdue bills and agreeing on a payment schedule where necessary

· Assists Team/Manager with general accounting administration

· Performs clerical duties, such as maintains filing and record systems

· Handling all internal billings

· Oversee and monitor the corporate company process

· Provide metrics and specific reporting to senior management

· Operating database software and electronic billing systems to review financial data, correct discrepancies and reconcile accounts appropriately

· Preparing and sending invoices to customers while applying special rates or discounts to specific bills

· Other duties as assigned


· Accounting Diploma and/or two-year equivalent accounting/billing experience

· Excellent knowledge of intermediate to advanced functions in Microsoft Excel

· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, and Outlook

· Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

· Excellent Interpersonal skills and communication skills

· Quick learner and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment

· Customer Billing Experience

· Transportation, trucking, logistics industry experience is an asset. Shipping Container experience (Highly Preferred)

· Knowledge of Microdea/Synergize will be considered an asset

· Working experience with TMW (Truck Mate Software) will be an asset

· Knowledge of Quick Books will be considered an asset
