Job Description
Under general direction of the Human Resources Manager and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group brand and local policies and procedures, assist the management of the Human Resources in ensuring its overall efficiency and effectiveness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the management of the recruitment process as per Ishraq Hospitality and IHG brand to ensure vacancies are filled in a timely manner and with the most suitable candidate
- Assist the Human Resources induction for new joiners to ensure they are familiar with the company policies, rules and regulations
- Participate in preparation of the Corporate Strategic Plan, HR Plan and Goals Program
- Provide colleagues with advice and guidance to align behaviours and practices with the corporate performance expectations and standards
- Assist with the Disciplinary and Grievance process ensuring behavioural and performance expectations of colleagues are met
- Assist the Corporate HR Manager in administration of performance appraisal for colleagues
- Assist in the implementation and tracking of colleagues training programs
- Coordinate colleague welfare activities to ensure increased colleague satisfaction and prepares all documents and materials that are needed for recognition programs and social activities
- Coordinate and support the Colleague Outlet Supervisor with the dining facility management to ensure increased Colleague satisfaction
- Assist in the administration of the Engagement Survey execution process to achieve the pre-set participation target
- Prepares HR periodic reports as required by the the management
- Responsible in accurate update and maintaining colleague records
- Maintain and update HR Payroll software and transmit monthly payroll information to the Finance Department
- Establish and maintain effective internal communications to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity
- Assist in conducting exit interviews with leavers to understand the reason behind their decision to leave and address colleague dissatisfaction and concerns
- Perform tasks and duties outside of his/her scope of work as necessitated by work demand
What we need from you
- 5 years’ related experience in Human Resources in an international hotel brand
- Bachelors Degree with subjects or certificates in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field preferred
- High proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft software
- Experienced with yearly HR and L&D audits
- Adept with Corporate HR policies and procedures, New UAE Labor Law
- Oracle proficient, preferred
