JOB PURPOSE:

The Cost Controler is responsible coordinate and assure cost estimation, project budgeting and cost control during the various project phases, including verification of contractor and cost reports.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for overall quality of cost analysis and adherence to project control methodologies to corporate standards.
• Assures expenditure phasing by each project team.
• Assures cost control for both contract and internal costs.
• Carries out cost risk analysis and supporting management of reserve utilization (contingency).
• Assures project budget development and updating.
• Provides analysis of cost trends, to assist project management understand issues early and develop mitigation measures as warranted.
• Manages the cost engineering team and ensures staff utilised are of the required standard and competencies.
• Provides a full cost engineering, work management, analysis and cost control guidance, in accordance with Company requirements.

Minimum Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or QS engineering degree.
• PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, or any equivalent professional certificate.
• 08-12 years of experience of which at least 3 years in a managerial position
