Full job description

As a cost controller, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost management, cost control, and financial analysis for [Company Name]. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that financial goals are achieved through effective budgeting, monitoring expenses, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
• Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data and future projections.
• Monitor ongoing expenses and compare them to the budget.
• Analyze cost trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and guidelines.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs.
• Prepare regular reports outlining financial performance and present findings to management.
• Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements.
• Implement cost control initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to track project costs and expenditures.
• Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a cost controller, cost accountant, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
