Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to provide excellent customer service and to promote this idea throughout the organisation. The goal is to keep the department running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet their expectations.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of UAE experience in cleaning and maintenance services, with a strong background in supervisory roles. As the Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of cleaning and maintenance personnel to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities. The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of cleaning and maintenance practices duties. Include coaching, training and motivating staff to perform effectively. Customer service managers must also create an environment where employees feel valuable to the organization.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of cleaning and maintenance staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Cleaning and Maintenance Oversight: Oversee and coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment across the facilities.

Training and Development: Provide training and ongoing support to team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of cleaning and maintenance services, addressing any deficiencies promptly.

Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of cleaning and maintenance materials, equipment, and tools to ensure smooth operations.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, implementing appropriate measures to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.

Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.

Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the cleaning and maintenance budget, optimizing resources and minimizing costs without compromising on quality.

Communication: Liaise with other departments and management to address specific cleaning and maintenance needs and provide regular updates on the team's performance.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges related to cleaning and maintenance, employing effective problem-solving skills.

Social media management: Provide daily updates from the Social & Chat environment. Maintain an efficient response time based on business expectations. Actively participate in team meetings with the Social Marketing team. Ask necessary questions and/or provide feedback on current questions and/or trends on chat and social media platforms.

Requirements and skills

· Proven working experience as a Customer Service Manager, Retail Manager at UAE at least 6 years.

· Experience in providing customer service support

· Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques

· Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools

· Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications

· Ability to think strategically and to lead

· Strong client-facing and communication skills

· Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

· Customer service orientation

  • PC skills including Microsoft Office applications, like Word, Excel, power point

Language:

  • Written and fluent spoken English
  • Tagalog is required
  • Arabic and/or Hindi are having advantages too
